Can I use 3/8″ toggle bolts to attach a deck ledger to hollow core concrete blocks?
Deck is 12′x 20′ with 20′ against the block. I also used 5 3/8″ wedge anchors in between the mortar and also the center partition of the block. I also used construction adhesive on the ledger.
not at all never, because for that application your cinder blocks need to be filled with concrete to have the tensile strength to hold the weight. If you can get access to the cinder blocks add concrete to them inside of the cells.
