Sweeper Broom
when going to a sit down restaurant is it proper for employees to run sweepers on rugs while eating i say no!
dust sweepers,brooms cause dust particles that can land on your food if employees clean next to you i feel there’s other ways to clean a mess and yes nothing is 100% germ free that would be impossible for set standards am i a nut my father had a restaurant for 15yrs and head chef 15yrs before i never ever recalled anything like that my parents and their employees clean when customers left out of respect what do you say
I own a restaurant and this is what we do. When a group of people leave a booth or table and they leave a big mess on the floor then our wait staff is instructed to take a broom and a dust pan and sweep as quickly and as unobtrusively as possible. We do not get the vacuum out until the restaurant is closed. Running the vacuum is too loud and they do stir up dust.
