how do I remove a yellow jacket bees hive?
The hive is in the door jam of my car. It is about the size of a baseball. It is active with yellow jackets present.
The only time to remove them is night time when all are in and asleep supposedly. You go out with a flash light with a red piece of cloth over it. If you hit the nest with direct light you will wake them and they will attack. Take a stick a long one and knock it down. The yellow jackets will leave come dawn. If per chance you do wake them be prepared to run baby run. This has worked for me many times with nests much bigger. Just please be careful. If allergic to bees of any kind have some one else who is not do it just in case you get stung. But I will say the chances are slim.
