Why is my AC not cooling and the purge light is flashing?
I have a Honeywell (universal mini-zone).The green cool light is on,zone 2 light is on and the yellow purge light is blinking.
The discharge air temperature sensor may be defective. A flashing yellow means “No DATS or DATS failure”. This will lock out the cooling to protect the compressor.

Follow the rebooting instructions and see if that works.
